1852, William 10 c. greenish black, horizontal pair with good to large margins, tied by circle of bars with adjacent brownish red "LUXEMBOURG 10 NOV. 53" and straight-line "Charge", to cover front with partly printed address to Mondercange. Very fine and extremely rare; PROFI has not recorded any further registered inland mail of the 1st issue. Certificate Demuth (1998)

1852, William 10 c. greenish black, vertical strip of 3 with good to large margins, tied by circle of bars with adjacent "LUXEMBOURG 6 SEPT 54”, to part paid lettersheet (side flaps missing) via Belgium to London, endorsed "affranchie Ostende" and charged upon arrival with "8" pence for the 2nd British rate (¼-½ oz.). A very fine and rare early printing strip on entire; just one similar letter recorded at this rate. Certificate Demuth BPP (1998)

1852, William 10 c. black, vertical strip of 4 with good to large margins, tied by circle of bars to entire letter with adjacent "LUXEMBOURG 27 JUIN 54” to Beane, France. Cover creases, not affecting the stamps, the entire with fixed tear at upper right, otherwise very fine and attractive. A scarce franking. Certificates Demuth BPP (1981) and Raybaudi (1990)
