one for value tablet only), one of the £1 reproductions could be termed as the second state is unreported and has Paul Freeland's inventory card with note, "Purchased from Sperati - June 4, 1956," the card has two handwritten notes, one signed
by Walske opining "possibly a new type" and an unsigned pencil note opining that it is a poor print that was unsatisfactory to Sperati and should not be considered a new type (image of Freeland card is here); considered to be not different enough to
qualify as a second type but obviously good enough for Sperati to sell and certainly a retouched state (Image 1)

Sperati II, ex Ken Pugh, a pair of genuine 12p Specimen plate proofs, a working proof of 1859 issue 17c Cartier on white paper with Sperati marginal notations as well a trial exposure, the 1859 issue items are ex Sperati archives and Carl Walske.
Also includes a philatelic journal clipped image of a 3d Beaver cover, ex Sperati archives, that was apparently used as a model to make the forged cancel (Image 1)
