1044 O/og/nh   imageCollection in seven albums, 1870s-2023, hinged or taped into six full Unity albums, though these fastening methods would not compromise the postage value of this large collection, which has face value of $3,421 for denominations of 17c and over. Beginning with a few Small Queens through the classic issues, mostly used and sparse through World War II, with increased completion and mostly mint from the 1950s onward. Includes a Canada Post Millennium Collection, a Unity album with a mix of First Day Covers, Special Event covers (Canada Post and philatelic exhibitions), Thematic Packs ("Year of" packs from 1997-2008 inclusive), a few Revenues and Cinderellas (notably the sheet of Expo 67 country labels), etc., quite possibly the first collection we have handled that includes mint stamps up to the end of 2023, high catalogue value, overall quite clean and very fine. 1047 O   imageCollection of mint Canada and BNA, 1897-1977, with hundreds of stamps in black mounts in a Minkus album. Starts with Jubilees (½c to 50c, c.v. $6,160, some NH, though no NH premium included), then complete through the end of the period, mostly hinged and fine to very fine. We note a full set of the Québec Tercentenary issue, Admirals (including singles or pairs of all the coils, plus a part perforate block of the 1c orange) through the end of the period, there are very few empty spaces, and coils throughout the definitive issues. Back of the book is well represented with Airmail, Special Delivery, Postage Due and overprinted Officials, both O.H.M.S. and G. We note a fine or better set of Registered Letter Stamps (F1-F3), and nearly complete War Tax, with some mint pairs of the coils. The BNA portion of the collection includes Cents issues from Nova Scotia and P.E.I. Clean and quite complete. Our online photos cover most of the period through the 1940s. Overall fine or better throughout, and very high catalogue value. 1048 og/nh   imageUseful collection of Canada, 1897-1969, in a Lighthouse hingeless album with back-of-book pages, sparsely filled from 1952 onwards, but what is here is meaningful, and features Diamond Jubilee issues mint (1c-3c are NH), a complete F-VF NH basic Admirals set, and VF NH stamps for several other sets, including 1935 George V ‘Pictorials’, George VI 1938 ‘Pictorials’, 1942 ‘War’ and 1946 ‘Peace’ issues. Officials (O.H.M.S. and ‘G’ overprint) are nearly complete in VF NH condition, overall fresh and very fine, in a like-new album ready for continuation; our four photos online show the best sets.
