Accumulation of Used Canada, Large Queens to Admirals, consisting of a few thousand stamps, on album pages, in glassines, 102 cards, and with loose material. We note a few used Large Queens, with roughly half the lot consisting of Small Queens, noting a wide variety of postmarks including Squared Circles, c.d.s. (including some smaller towns), duplex, cork and fancy cancels, machine, crown, broken circle, including a few on piece, etc. The remainder of the lot consists of lower denomination Jubilees, Edwards, Québecs, and Admirals, including a small box of many hundreds of unpicked loose stamps. The collection begins with a small selection of mint Victorian issues, including Scott #56 (m.h., c.v. $130), along with a few mint hinged Map stamps, used set of Edwards (5c is mint hinged, $497 total), along with a few mint Québecs, mint and used sets of Admirals, Scrolls (including mint hinged 50c Bluenose, $225), Arch, mint hinged set of War and Peace issues. The collection continues with mint and used selections of back of the book material including Airmails, Special Delivery, Postage Due, Officials, and Registration (including mint hinged 5c, $140). Mint Canada Collection in a Hingeless Lighthouse Album, 1927-1981, about 95% complete in period (with no Admirals), including most overprinted Officials, complete Special Delivery and Postage Due issues, phosphor issues, etc. Stamps after 1950 appear to be all NH, and before that there is a mix of hinged and never hinged, with the tendency towards lower values being hinged and higher ones NH, but certainly with exceptions such as NH #s E1ii, O9, O10, 203i (Broken X in a pair), 245 (block of four) and more. Some of the collectors duplicates have been displayed on four black stock sheets, including a full set of Air Mail Special Delivery stamps in NH blocks of four. We note almost all of the stamps are mounted with crystal mounts and consequently the mint stamps are counted as hinged. Collection of Mostly Mint Karsh, Wilding and Cameo Definitives, 1953 to 1963, consisting of over a thousand stamps as singles, coils and coil pairs / strips, plate blocks, miniature panes, complete booklets and booklet panes, mounted on Robin Harris album pages or in well-sorted and identified glassines. We saw perfins (at least ten different private) precancels (including some on commercial covers), and miniature sheets both loose and in their original packaging (with much duplication, unchecked for paper fluorescence and tagging). There are both stitched and stapled booklets, and one with neither staples nor stitches (see photos). Also included is the Robin Harris catalogue for these three issues, filled with listings from the most basic to the very specialized. This clean, organized collection would provide an excellent start to a new collecting area or good stock for a dealer or online reseller. Our online photos provide a good overview of the contents.
