1580 O/og/nh   imageCollector’s Uncatalogued Material, with recent purchases not examined for inclusion into his collection. These are presented as received by the collector and we did not attempt to catalogue this material. We noticed early issues, a group of 6 Beethoven souvenir sheets (5 of them mnh, 1 used), a bulk lot of large inflation blocks and much more. All displayed in one binder. Some faults noted on the earlier material, otherwise very fine. (Scan 1) (Scan 2) (Scan 3) (Scan 4) (Scan 5) (All Scans)

1581 O/nh   imageMint and Used Collection and Accumulation, 2000 to 2019, in 5 stockbooks. This lot is mainly comprised of 3 copies of, likely each regular or semi-postal stamp and souvenir sheet and one copy of each booklet within the period issued in Germany. Note that we did not verify completion. For much of the period, one of the 3 copies is cancelled to order. From 2010 on, a mint copy of each booklet as well as a mint and a cancelled strip of 5 coil stamps. This results in very high face value as many pages have values as high as 40 Euros. A very fine lot, of interest to collectors and dealers alike. (Scan 1) (Scan 2) (Scan 3) (Scan 4) (Scan 5) (Scan 6) (Scan 7) (Scan 8) (Scan 9) (Scan 10) (All Scans)

1583 O/og/nh   imageCollections of Mint and Used, 1880s to 1990s, consisting of thousands of stamps of Germany, DDR, German States and various occupations in black mounts or hinged onto (mostly) Steiner pages in two very thick binders (one with no stamps, but ready to be filled and the other chock full of DDR across most of the range of its existence, including the earliest issues) and some postal stationery. There is duplication among these collections, which are also on loose quadrille pages and in about 75 Vario-style black stock sheets (this latter group with a faint odor of tobacco). There is duplication in the modern material and we noted some faulty in the early stamps. Overall fine or better, this lot would be a great entry into to this very popular collecting area. Our photos show a general overview, but viewing recommended to better appreciate. German Occupation
LotNo. Symbol Cat No. Lot Description
1589 og/nh   imageGermany U.S. and Great Britain Occupation Zones, collection of 31 complete sheets, plus 11 sheets missing 4 stamps each plus other part sheets, a total of about 4,500 stamps. We did not count the few stamps stuck together. Values to 40pf and sheets from all three printings: U.S., U.K. and Germany. Some sheets are folded across stamps, have some separation or are missing part of the selvage. Nevertheless, this is a treasure trove for the seekers of plate and other selvage markings and for the specialist as we did not identify papers nor perforations, nor did we try to verify the sheets for the numerous plate flaws as identified in the Michel catalogue. Fine to very fine.
