1433 nh J15/J19 imageCollection of Fourth Issue Postage Due Plate Blocks of 6 and 10, an extensive offering, with J15 (10x blocks of 6 and 31x corner blocks of 10), J16 (20x blocks of 6 plate 1 and 30x corner blocks of 10 plate 1 and 3x corner blocks of 10 plate 2), J17 (11x blocks of 6 and 19x corner blocks of 10), J18 (3x blocks of 6 and 8x corner blocks of 10), and J20 (5x blocks of 6 and 12 corner blocks of 10). Each value is present in both top and bottom, or right and left plate inscriptions. All catalogued as all least expensive shades or papers, we spot checked 20 items (they are all in black open-sided mounts) which revealed only one hinged item, so we catalogued the collection as all never hinged, assuming there will be very few, if any more. Even though the majority are very fine centered, we did not add a 50% premium on centering.

1439 O/og   imageAccumulation of Mint and Used Provinces, 1860-1947 consisting of a binder with many hundreds of stamps (appears to be owner's duplicates) in Vario black stock pages. The accumulation primarily consists of Newfoundland mint and used, of note, Scott #s: 24 mint (x2 no gum, $125 each), 25 mint (c.v. $600), 30 used (x2, c.v. $115 each), 72 mint (block of 4, c.v. $240), 115-126 mint Trail of the Caribou set (c.v. $293). The Newfoundland section also includes mint plate blocks (ranging from Scott #s 253/266), a selection of mint blocks and multiples from 1937 onward, and roughly 30 covers (primarily philatelic in combination with Canadian stamps). Scott catalogue value for the Newfoundland totaled $6,403. The accumulation continues with New Brunswick, primarily mint no gum stamps, ranging from Scott #s 6-11 with a catalogue value of $1,882; Nova Scotia mint and used ranging from #8-13, with a catalogue value of $486; and Prince Edward Island mint and used, ranging from #4/16 with a catalogue value of $212.
