2397 O/og/nh New Zealand imageMint and Used Collection in three Volumes, 1873 to 2003, with a mix of mint and used and starts off with QV issues including shades, perforations and a few higher value items (we noted a used #59 with lovely c.d.s. but a thin, cat $450), followed by a fairly strong collection, with many high values (these sometimes mint), and many added items such as coils, booklets and booklet panes, souvenir sheets, loaded with mint never hinged sets from the 1980s to the end (very high face value). The third volume contains a collection of used issues from 1997 to 2003, apparently catalogued at $770. The back of the book section is also strong, with 28 used QV postal fiscals, then 34 used postal fiscals from 1931-on, a strong showing of Health Stamps (mint and used, often with both side by side, from 1929 to 2001), as well as good Officials and other back of the book. Starts with an astonishing accumulation of the first issues in used condition where we noted Scott #s 1, 2, 3, 13, 28, 59-61. Is mainly used to about 1965 and mint hinged or both mint and used thereafter. From 1980 on, many booklets and souvenir sheets are included. Lots of face value.
