Lafrenière explains that Bileski stated that "only about 30 sheets exist", printed in Winnipeg by Bulman Brothers and possibly commissioned by the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce. 1352 CVR   imageCollection of World War I Correspondence, with about 55 letters in a binder, all written by Basil Pickford (born 1900). The letters are dated 1915 to 1917, while he was still a teenager and show a progression of his movements during the War, with some letters written back on his behalf near the end when he was hospitalized in France. Some are addressed to Mother, some to Daddy and some to Margaret, some are written on fancy YMCA letterhead and over half still have their envelopes. A fascinating read. Balance of address obscured by multiple REDIRECTION labels, the last being to Shorncliffe. Multiple manuscript notations as well as instructional markings "NOT ON RECORD CCAC FOLKESTONE"and "INSUFFICIENT ADDRESS", as well as extensive backstamps including WOODCOTE PARK, DLS SHORNECLIFFE, FIELD POST OFFICE, FOLKESTONE c.s.d. and DEAD LETTER BRANCH OTTAWA.
