1338 PC PC imageGroup of 5 Picture Postcards Mailed to Better Destinations, 1908-1920 first is a 2c Admiral on real photo Government Bath House Banff (photo and copyright by Byron Harmon), mailed by Constable Laurendeau R.C. Mounted Police in Macleod Alberta 1920 to Georgetown, MacCarthy Island, Gambia (20c postage due). Second is a 2c Edward picture of Tadoussac Bay mailed to Tonkin, mailed NOV.21.1907, arrived Dapcau JAN.23.1908. Three other cards have various Montreal scenes (mailed from there) and are franked with 1c (no message), 2c, and two 1c and addressed to Saigon "Cocochine", all in 1908. 1339 PC PC1 imageGroup of Stationery Cards Mailed Overseas, 1888 to 1939 with 16 cards in all. Starts with 3 UPU cards 1888 to 1897, the next 13 cards are uprated with stamps. We note 5 Small Queens, one has its reply card still attached, 1 QV Leaf card uprated with a 1c Numeral, 4 are Edward VII, an Arch issue plus another KGV card. Countries are Belgium, Holland, Germany, Scotland, Denmark. A few small faults, a few 1c SQ are stained, still overall a fine lot. Also includes a 1939 2c Arch registered AR card mailed from Vancouver to Montreal via a First Flight (Trans Canada Air Mail cachet) which ended up in Natal, South Africa (receiver and transit markings on picture side), very fine. Includes an 1898 Gloria Mundi colour patriotic to Germany, franked with a purple 2c Leaf, taxed 25 centimes. Note a German-printed card with views of the Montreal Harbour and Ottawa Parliament buildings, other views are Niagara falls, Toronto University, the Basilica at Ste Anne de Beaupré, the Ice Palace in Montreal and more. 1343 PC PC5 imageCollection of Moosomin, ASSA Items, with 23 picture postcards (3 are Edward era, rest go up to the 1940s, and 5 are modern) with many great views. A few were mailed and have Moosomin duplex cancels. Also a very rare early sepia tone photograph of McCurdy & Tucker Machinists, measuring 20 x 11 mm, cabinet-style showing a two story factory, with horse-drawn buggies, workers, etc (faults). Also includes five different Moosomin Collegiate Institute Year-Booklets between 1927 and 1946.
