309 O 104/140 imageCollection and Stock of Used Admirals, starting with an advanced collection written-up on quadrille pages in a Stanley Gibbons album, with pretty much every issued stamp represented, sometimes with dozens or more examples, with annotations as per shades, printings, dies, printing varieties, etc. Includes War Tax, coils, booklet panes or singles, postmarks, pairs, strips and blocks (some large). A very nice collection. Also an old time collection (from 1956) also written-up with many issues, varieties, a collection of postmarks found on Admiral issues, etc. Last but not least are three stockbooks (2x 16 page and one 32 page) filled with thousands of used stamps, neatly sorted by shade, printing, coils, dies, dated copies, hairline copies, precancels, many blocks and more. One stockbook contains only the 1c yellow issues and the other two run all of the other values up to the $1. We counted over 120 copies of the 20c, 75 of the 50c, 52 of the $1. One of the stockbooks also contains a decent collection of roller cancels in 102 cards. Overall clean material and a great opportunity for the specialist.
