Mostly all hinged except for one of the 2c and the 5c, 8c and 10c which are never hinged. One of the 20c has tiny stains on front, the 50c has heavy hinge remnants on back plus gum soaking on its top perforations, and the ½c gum has been redistributed to appear NH, rest are mostly fine to very fine. 195 O 50/64 image1897 Group of Jubilees with Nice Town Cancels, all selected for choice town cancels, with c.d.s., broken circles, a duplex and an RPO, all fully dated. Includes values from the ½c to the 10c, 20c (deep vermilion) and 50c. A lovely collection with most stamps very fine centered. Also includes a $2 (with Victoria c.d.s. cancel dated OCT.12.1897, quite faded but otherwise sound and fine-very fine centered), and a $4 (with Montreal c.d.s. cancel, bit faded, else sound and fine centered). All stamps are scanned online. Includes a letter written by the Acting Deputy Postmaster General, datelined "Post Office Department, Ottawa 21st May, 1897" and saying that he in enclosing "...a photographic reproduction, double size, of the Jubilee Postage Stamp which this Department proposes to issue..."
