1308 O/og/nh Germany (DDR) Mint and Used Collection, 1949 to 1979 in two Lighthouse hingeless albums with slip cases. Looks to be about half mint and half used. The second album (1968 to 1979 is missing only about a dozen items to be complete. The first album is probably 60% complete and includes some better early material, etc. We note a tiny thin on #80 (hinged), #82 and 84 are never hinged but have light gum disturbance. Overall a nice, clean collection. Est $ 150

1310 O/og/nh Germany (DDR) Three Mint and Used Collections, first is a used collection, starting with Soviet Zone then DDR from 1949 to 1979 on Minkus pages, about 60% complete, missing more expensive stamps, still overall clean and attractive. Second is a mint (mostly all NH) complete collection from 1972 to 1976 in a KA-BE album. 1311 O/og/nh Germany, etc. Box of Various Good Collections, including a 1984 Hamburg UPU Congress presentation book featuring MNH stamps from Germany and Berlin from 1979 to 1984 (missing only one set, catalogue is 373). A mint and used collection in two Schaubek albums 1951 to 1995 (includes much NH with many better sets and singles, souvenir sheets, etc. with a high level of completeness, catalogues $800), includes a Berlin collection 1948 to 1990. A Germany (DDR) mint collection in two volumes, 1950 to 1967 on Lindner pages, appears complete from 1953 to 1967, missing only about 5 souvenir sheets in that period. Finally, a West Germany mint and used collection filling a 24 page stockbook, 1872 to 1997, with much NH, some duplication, many nice c.d.s. cancels (this catalogues $1,200). 1324 O/og/nh Great Britain imageExtensive Collection of Mint and Used in a Springback Album, with hundreds of stamps from 1840 to 1951. The first two pages contain ten Penny Blacks, including one 4-margin copy. There are 40 1d red imperforates including one "ivory head", one pair, three with numbered Maltese Cross cancels (#7, 8, 9), and two with security prints on back (O.U.S., and Cope & Take Moore). There are 14 pairs of the ½d midget. #s 126, 33 and 138 and mint hinged and have bright colour. The mint also include #s 249-251A, 268 in a block of 4, 286-269, etc. Very fine cancels are noted throughout, including a #96 with a Jersey c.d.s., as well as c.d.s. cancels of #s 49, 87, etc. Back of the book includes postage dues, officials, and revenues, with lots of varieties noted. The total catalogue value of this collection is enormous, but we recommend viewing it as faults are noted and we have not described everything it contains. The numerous scans online only give a small example of the contents of this very nice collection.
