There is approximately $500 in value in the early issues where counterfeits and fake cancels are known to exist. Lots of topical interest and includes some better material such as the 1918 and 1940 postage dues, the two 1987 CAPEX souvenir sheets, the 1979-92 definitives (with many imprint varieties), and the 1948 Silver Wedding. Highlights include Dahomey J1-6 (hinged $128), CQ5 (used $35), Benin 20-45 (hinged $355), Ivory Coast 89-91 (hinged $44), Martinique (hinged 33/51 $360), Guadeloupe 94-95 (hinged $25), etc. The "Navigation and Commerce" issues were randomly checked and the perfs were 14 x 13½, however a closer look might be advisable. The collection is complete from 1955 to the end, and before that is missing some phosphor varieties in the 1960 definitive set, a few definitives from the 1954 set, one semi postal set of 4 in 1952, and about half the stamps from 1949 to 1951. A very clean and very fine collection, with a high catalogue value (mostly due to the never hinged nature of the stamps), with lots of $20 to $80 items (we note B314-15 $120, etc), not missing much to complete in period.
