1000s of stamps in two stock books from the 19th century onwards, one book with much classic Romania incl multiples particularly on 19th and early 20th century overprints and defins and continuing to high cataloging modern imperfs, S/S and the like, somewhat disorganized in presentation yet clearly a very substantial potential retail holding her as ther is also much NH and some non-Scott listed material and some other countries noted, the second volume continues in the same way, this time with the main focus on Hungary, again with plenty of good sets post WWII, good S/S of birds, butterflies and flowers, Schiller imperf m/s and early pre WWII noticed, as well as further S/S, again all chaotically presented but with value throughout, yet again also including other countries and some pleasant surprises when looked at carefully. Ideal for a dealer looking for a project, huge potential here when properly processed.
Over 75 well filled albums with tens of thousands of stamps collected by a dedicated topicalist over years, roughly half mint and half used with virtually everything in complete series, a spot check reveals virtually everything never hinged or used. You name the topic - it’s here; clearly a bargain starting point at very small fraction of the new issue cost.
numerous albums with overwhelmingly mint never hinged though with some better used 19th century here and there, preponderance of the value is in premium quality (even the used) 20th century to about 2008 issues, nothing present in excessive quantity, generally many of the collections are European post WW II however there is a good range from the 1930s as well, considerable Far East and other parts of the globe as well, highly recommended with virtually every topic under the sun here.
Nine well filled specially designed Disney albums containing all mint never hinged sets, singles, S/S, mini-sheets, etc. of Antigua, Australia, Dominica (a particularly favorite miniature sheet is Donald Duck holding "the stamp auction"), Indonesia, Lesotho, Maldives, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Taiwan, Tanzania, The Gambia, Togo, Turks and Caicos Islands, USA and much more, as well as occasional collateral material, etc., virtually every Disney character represented here from Walt to Winnie the Pooh! Delightful, huge new issue cost.
A substantial album starting with 1930s tete-beche Zucker used, further rocket collateral from the 1950s including rocket mail, through early 1960s including Bellinzona, crash cover Kaprun of Austria originating in Mooserboden, as well as unusual tete-beche Zucker parachute sheetlets of four, additional material includes a study of Boeings, as well as several dozen different rocket flights many with limited numbers, often accompanied by the specific vignettes for their respective rockets journeys. The collection unfolds with much more material in the 1960s through to the 1980s including seldom seen material, not just items from USA and Germany, but also The Netherlands, Belgium, Wan-Hoo of the Far East, joint European Community efforts, etc. There must be a few hundred items here when sheetlets and other collateral are included, even private propaganda promotion of Zucker in silver and gold m/s of the 1950s hardly ever available on the market present. Collection offered intact as received, an opportunity for the specialist, much more here to discover.
1st album (of 7) devoted to mint dinosaurs sets, the 2nd volume to several 100s if not 1000s of stamps virtually all in complete sets with themes as birds, butterflies, insects, mushrooms, fauna, fish, yet more dinosaurs, cats, dogs, big cats, elephants, ships, trains both steam to modern, aviation, zeppelins, space, chess, aviation, etc., the World Wild Life Fund (WWF) postal history section housed in four well filled volumes sporting great cachets and maximum cards, for example elephants from Gabon and Sri Lanka, hippos from Swaziland, giraffes from Kenya, camels from Mongolia, zebras from Namibia, birds from Singapore, British Virgin Islands, Ascension, Malawi and Benin etc., a 7th volume with a collection of WWF covers including over 100 different examples with crocodiles from Togo, mammoth seals from Russia, rhino from Congo, tropical fish from St Lucia, antelope from South Africa to name but a few, generally Very Fine, considerable new issue cost and ideal for the eBay seller.
Beginning with what is probably a 19th century early print of a sitting Napoleon in contemplative mood at Fontainebleau March 1814, leading on to the stamps including a scarce US 10cts mint Louisiana Purchase, also then French Colonies galore including French Polynesia with the 100fr airmail mint and all the rest. This also relates to anything and anybody related to Napoleon and his life including 1000fr gold of Cameroons, as well as Paraguay’s tribute to Napoleons wives (and love affairs), various se-tenants, miniature sheets, tributes to Russian generals that defeated Napoleon, etc. Finally the collection ends appropriately with his death mask from Gabon. Many more countries here, all linked to this unusual theme, a considerable collection and an enjoyable viewing.
