Classic collection on old-fashioned album pages with a few 1000 stamps all one of a kind and virtually nothing later than 1910. We note San Marino 1895 1 lire blue unused, Germany 50 pfennige shades used, Belgium inc. 1893s to 20fr used and 1910 semi-postals complete mint, useful France and Italy, Crete 1899 Heraklea issues complete used, Luxembourg 1880s to 5fr, through to Romania, Russia, Switzerland, Serbia, Turkey, followed by Latin America including interesting Mexico, Peru classics, etc. There are particularly vibrant colors throughout hardly exposed to light and condition generally far better than normally encountered on collections of this vintage, completely uncataloged. "Chaotic Worklot" is probably an understatement, make no mistake this will engage you. The emphasis is on the first album with thousands of stamps, from Abyssinia through to Venezuela with well filled sections of GB, Greece, Germany, Persia and Salvador, etc. Aside this are the brown envelopes again with thousands if not tens of thousands of stamps with many good areas such as Netherlands Colonies, French Colonies, South America in general, some stamps housed in opaque envelopes within envelopes. Very little if any modern, this fills up a shoebox to the brim and once worked on should yield many discoveries. The other 3 , albums inc one with a penny black and several dozen penny reds in rather good condition, lots of better QV, EDVII, etc and also at the back some high cataloguing officials, well worth researching. Also seen dozens of loose old fashioned quadrille album pages, lots of good items here as well inc India QV to 5rs, EDVII surcharges on 25rs, GB yet again with high values to £,, HK KGVI mint defins, KUT 1935 sg. Also seen ,postal history KGVI inc registered Singapore, etc.. The more we look at this lot the better it becomes, spend some time on this, much more here than first meets the eye.
