1562 imageJones, Ernest (1879-1958; British psychoanalyst, biographer of Sigmund Freud), TLS "Ernest Jones", 1 page and a bit on the back, on his engraved stationery and addressed to Dr Saul, mentions "...Personally I do not think that anything called "consciousness" really exists.", Fine; Jones was an early disciple of Freud and was responsible for promoting the practice of psychoanalysis throughout Britain, the US and Canada. It was due to his efforts in the late 1930s that allowed Freud and his family, along with other Austrian and German analysts, to Emigrate to England and the United States. To his credit, he initiated the parcel post and airmail services, increasing mail service to rural areas.
