The front shows an oval U.S. 10 Cts PAID handstamp (unusual). Some cover tears and the stamp on the front has been torn, otherwise Fine. Scott prices a block of 4 off cover at $3,250, on cover is unpriced - and very rare! Scott $3,250.

Paid" in oval handstamp, "Berlin U.C. AP 14" and "New Hamburg AP 15, 1865" backstamps, Very Fine.

York Br. Pkt. 7 Paid May 8" (1866) credit datestamp, and blue "Aachen/Franco" boxed handstamp. The cover was carried on Cunarder Africa from Boston on May 9, 1866, arriving Queenstown May 19. Tiny opening tears and part of the backflap removed, a Very Fine cover overall, ex-Allen (illustrated in Lane's book on page 50), Fairman, Faust.
