84   imageQEII Unappropriated Dies Revenue. 1958 complete set of TWENTY SEVEN Royal Mint die proofs across three pages, of all values from 1d-£5 each with manuscript annotations and date of completion for each die (£1.2.6d not included), the project endorsed ‘Modified stamp frames with new QE effigy’ Showing the dies were amended from the preceding reign. Each complete proof, is handstamped 'CANCELLED' in violet. A unique and impressive assembly of the highest importance- this design the basis of some of the rarest Great Britain revenue stamps issued. Odd minor blemishes mentioned for accuracy (slightly trimmed perfs, 1r strip creased), nevertheless a magnificent and unique set of multiples, with this type 19 opt recorded by Samuel only on the 2a, 4a, 8a and 1r values, the others being unknown to him.
