Health
and Pensions Insurance. C1938 new stamps (24), all Specimens, values from 4d to 21/8d, affixed to a piece of paper on the inside of a worn heavy board folder, presumably used for day-to-day reference in a working office. The annotations as to who
pay each rate are remarkably complicated, making clear the necessity for such a reference in an office. Nine of the stamps are for multiple contributions. There are two 4ds, one of which is unlisted, this in bright purple and green. There is
soiling and a few stamps are damaged. Original page with rates from July 1940 - Dec. 41 and the Jan. 42 increases included. Booth between 40 and 105 (Image)
