505 CVR   image1931 Vernon BC Airmail Cover to India, Delayed by Plane Crash, mailed from Vernon BC on JAN.20.1931 (duplex ties 45c worth of stamps) to Fyzabad India (FEB.2 receiver) with Meerut / Window FEB.28 c.d.s., address crossed-out with "c/o Black Watch" added, then returned to the United States with two New York receivers overtop an Officially Sealed stamp (alongside "Received in bad condition N.Y.P.O. Varick St. Stn"). Along the way the cover received a "Delayed by plane / crash near 1-22-31 / Washougl Wn" handstamp on front.
