21 PC   image1896 Hamilton "1829-Type" Postmark on Letter Card, a 3c letter card originally mailed from Hamilton on JAN.22.1896 (very fine squared circle postmark with TM 11) to Albany New York (JAN.23 receiver). The card has a nude strike of the "1829-Type" handstamp, which was revived from 1894 to 1904 and used by the Hamilton Postmaster on items he had to examine, for various reasons. Very fine, interesting and ex Cloutier.
