468   imageResearch Material from the “Y” Force, Winnipeg Grenadiers in Hong Kong Collection, containing all of the owner’s research material in one thick binder. We note a “Force C - The Canadian Army’s Hong Kong Story 1941-1945” exhibit book by Ken V. Ellison, many contemporary, and post-contemporary newspaper clippings (and a few complete newspapers) on the subject, articles, maps, a nice group of about 36 real photographs of the era, showing troops, ships, barracks, camps and much. More., also Japanese commemorative postcards, a Stampex 1982 booklet featuring an article on the “Force C” by c. Ron McGuire (signed / dedicated by him) and many more documents useful to the specialist. All housed in a real leather binder which has a locally made, hand tooled 2sh6d KGVI postage stamp image on the front. See pictures for a small sampling of what’s in the binder.
