443 CVR   image1941 (Dec. 8) Cover from Canada to the “C’ Force Headquarters in Hong Kong, Returned, mailed from Sarnia Ontario on DEC.8.1941 (machine cancel ties stamp) to Hong Kong, and in Ottawa received a “Base A.P.O. / Canada JAN.8.1942" c.d.s. and a purple handstamp reading “It is regretted that circumstances have made it impossible to forward this letter to destination. 446 CVR   imageCa. 1942 Prisoner of War Card Mailed from a Winnipeg Grenadier to Winnipeg, card written and mailed by Winnipeg Grenadier Private Cy Stewart to his family in Winnipeg. Stewart was captured in Hong Kong on DEC.25.1941 and imprisoned at Tokyo Camp Ohasi. Three red handstamps in Japanese (translated on owner’s page). Wrinkles do not detract from the scarcity of this card.
