Back has a boxed Bombay datestamp (date unreadable) as well as 4 different town cancels (from somewhere in the United Kingdom, likely Scotland which is what the owner specialized in). The letter is franked with two 1sh green Queen Victoria embossed (cut to shape) with grid numeral postmarks (number unreadable). Edge faults, else a scarce franking / destination. The franking consists of four different Queen Victoria issues (with Scott numbers and values for used off cover): 2d blue (#29, U$17), 4d vermilion (#43a plate 7, U$100), 6d lilac (#45, plate 5, U$160) and 1sh green (#48, U$325) for a total of 2sh.
