8 CVR   image1838 St Marie (L.C.) Folded Letter to Switzerland, a very long 4 page letter datelined "Montagne de Ste Thérese, Compté de Rouville, B. Canada, Paroisse de St Marie, le 15 mars 1838", mailed on MAY.19.1838 (1829-Type in black) to Switzerland (scarce thus), via New York (APR.2 transit in red), rated 7½d to Montréal (manuscript), with PAID handstamp and "32" plus "18 3/4" manuscript rates. Very fine, and a lovely way to show this rare 1829-Type postmark.

Two Folded Cover to Québec City, first was mailed on SEP.4.1834 (1829-type in black) to Montréal, with a long message on front requesting express service by the Montréal postmaster. The second was mailed on SEP.13.1834 (1829-Type in red) to "Belvidere, near Sherbrook", both very fine.

10 CVR   image1846 Stoney Creek (U.C.) on Incoming Cross-Border Folded Letter, mailed from Michigan, via Detroit, Windsor (MAR.10 transit in red) Niagara (MAR.17 transit in red), to Fifty Mile Creek (manuscript "Place not known"), forwarded (with handstamp) to Toronto (MAR.14 datestamps) then Fifty Mile Creek, then to Stoney Creek (NOV.17.1846 1829-Type in blue). Creases and overall aging, still fine and an interesting unknown creek to known creek route.
