1663 O/og/nh   imageCollection of Mint and Used United States in a Scott Specialized Album, to 1967, a nice, clean collection which is strong in early material (mostly used at first, then becomes progressively mint to the end), including back of the book. We note 28 different stamps before 1861, followed by a page of D, Z, E and F grills (15 diff. stamps), and so on, with Columbians to the 50c (incl. a 2c "Broken Hat" and "Broken Frame Line"), Trans-Mississippi to the 10c, complete Pan Americans (plus a mint 2c) and progresses to close to complete from the 1917-1919 era to the end, noting several imperforate singles and panes of the 1933-1937 issues, some better NH sets, such as the 1938 set (803-834, with two shades of the $1) and more. The back of the book section is also of note, strongest in its Postage Dues and Officials with highlights including O11S, O58S, O59S, complete O15-O24, O94, O101-O103, complete Postal Notes, and more, including 5 pages of Officially Sealed labels. 1672 O R1a/R98a imageCollection of 1862-1871 First Issue Revenue Stamps, Imperforate, on Scott Specialty pages, with 58 different imperforate issues. It is evident that some of these were cut on two or more sides to make them appear completely imperforate, on the other hand many appear to be legitimate. Judging by the value of the stamps appearing at first glance to be ok, the lot should easily be worth our estimate. Due to the nature of this lot, we cannot vouch for it's authenticity, so please carefully look at our scans online and bid accordingly. (Scan 1) (Scan 2) (Scan 3) (Scan 4) (Scan 5) (All Scans)

LotNo. Symbol Cat No. Lot Description
1680 og/O   imageOld Time Large Worldwide Collection in 12 Springback Albums, to the Early 1960s, mounted on just over 900 black quadrille pages (average of about 80 per album), alphabetically by country. We estimate the number of different stamps to be easily over 10,000. There appears to be representation from just about every country, ranging from one stamp to many pages full, with some countries much more prevalent, for example Gabon and Greece (and more). There is a fairly even mix of mint and used throughout, and we note a good quantity of sets and singles cataloguing up to U$100 or sometimes more. The quality of the stamps is generally above average, noting only a handful that have been affected by poor hinges. Our many online pictures should give a good idea as to the nature of the collection, but bear in mind that these represent only a very small fraction of what is included. An in-person, or video viewing (just ask) would be best suited to this one.
