1004 O 197/1930 imageLarge Accumulation of Used Stock in 7 Stockbooks, 1930s-2002, with many thousands of stamps, including a few souvenir sheets. booklets and booklet panes, coil strips, etc, neatly organized by Unitrade numbers generally ranging from #197/1930. The lot begins with a smaller selection of pre-1970 stamps, with the majority of material from the 1980s onwards, including a complete run of the popular Millenium stamps and a few souvenir sheets, many having in period readable dated postmarks. We estimate roughly 70% of the stamps are commemoratives, and note a good percentage of cleanly cancelled stamps overall, noting the vast majority of towns present are from western provinces. Ideal for the used Canada collector, as the previous owner spent a lifetime collecting good quality, lightly cancelled Canada. Our photos show a representation of the lot, overall fine to very fine. 1006 nh 231/341 imageCollection of Mint Never Hinged King George VI to Early QEII Era, all neatly displayed on black stock sheets, with each stamp identified. Not only does this collection contain mostly very fine mint never hinged regular issues (appears complete in period), there are also coil singles and pairs, some booklet pane singles, as well as all of the Special Delivery, Dues, Airmails and Airmail Special Delivery issues of the period. Last but not least is the presence of all the G and O.H.M.S. Official overprints (including a nice set of narrow spacing strips of three), as well as the O.H.M.S. perfins (these were counted as all "O9" types, even though some might be "O10" types, except those stamps which are listed as only one or the other), including some showing more than one position. Catalogue value is only for items $1 and up, and does not include the QEII regular issues as well as the odds and ends at the end of the collection. A great collection for the meticulous collector, or dealer wishing to resell high quality and valuable material. The many pages scanned online will give a good idea of the freshness and centering these stamps have.
