India 1930 airmail cover from Nova-Goa to New York via Karachi and London franked with 8 tangas Ceres (Mf# 268), 2 tangas Ceres (Mf# 265) and 6 reis Ceres (Mf# 261) all perforated 12 x 11 1/2. Mala Aerea label on the front. Correct registered airmail rate: 10 1/2 tangas. The 8 tangas Ceres is very scarce on cover. Please note: the double red lines on the front, over the airmail label, were added during the journey to indicate that some or all the legs of the flight were canMf#lled or delayed. The envelope likely entered the regular surfaMf# postal system during the journey from Goa to the USA. An exMf#llent early airmail cover.(Image 1) (Image 2)

A large blue “Par Avion” label on the front was torn from the label sheet. Envelope of the “Authorised Ford Dealers of Portuguese India”. All 3 stamps are tied by a clear “Nova-Goa” CDS.
