"Terrible T's" Various Districts Group of 27 stamps, including one perforated, featuring used and unused condition, together with three covers, attractively mounted on presentation pages without duplication and all originating from the “Terrible T’s” Districts: #38 Tabasco, #41 Tepeji, #42 Texcoco, #43 Tlalnepantla, and #44 Tlalpan. Denominations range from 6c to 100c, including two with the “Papel Sellado” watermark. Two covers are from Tabasco: one with a 25c. Red (#38-73) tied in place, the other bearing an untied pair of 6c. Green, both with a filing crease well away from the stamps. The third cover features a scarce Tepeji 12c. Blue (#41-72), not tied to the cover and signed “Bash"; this stamp may not have originated from the cover, but nevertheless, this 12c. Blue carries a non-folio catalogue value of $200 as a single. The condition is overall good, with most stamps showing three or four clear margins and minimal faults on the covers. One 2025 MEPSI certificate. Green, group of over 100 covers including very few cover fronts or large pieces, bearing one or more examples, all addressed to domestic destinations, except one sent to Bordeaux, France, with British carriage and in good state of preservation. The lot includes three excellent 25c. postal stationery covers, of which two cancelled by spectacular Diligencias de Morelia eagle h.s., the other with a very fine Papantla oval h.s. in blue. "Mulitas," group of four sample specimen stamps: one imperforate in blue and three perforated in shades of red, all with diagonal "PRUEBA" banner at top right, each stamp additionally with "Specimen" perfin. These were samples produced by Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. to demonstrate the quality of their work to the Mexican postal authorities.
