Durango, Puebla Duo of lithographed 25c. buff and orange examples, margins all around, including Durango (#18-1866 sub 29-1866) from Gavilanes, which, according to Roberto Liera, is the only sub-number recorded from that district: "...because the news of the Maximilian forces moving out did not reach this far-away town in the mountains of Sinaloa" (his handwritten note attached). The Puebla stamp (#3-1866 sub 5) from Chietla is also very rare, as this is a tiny town. Scott 28, 29. (Image)
