USA. Cancels clearly show mailed on 8 Dec 1948 and delivered on 15 Dec 1948 in Boxbury. 60186 S, S.G. 305-308 var image1948 Gandhi set of four with "SPECIMEN" overprints with the original Courvoisier presentation booklet in black velvet with gilt-edged pages where the stamps were hinged, which were produced by Courvoisier following the request of the Indian government and given to high ranking people. Less than ten of those booklets are still known and this in fine condition with the original cellophane around. The set with original gum and hinges.
