81193 O Mi. 44 F + 45 image1879 Bucharest Issue, 5 Bani blue error of colour in vertical pair with 10 Bani: cancelled with a faint blue rural postmark dated 27 SEP 79 . A 5 bani cliché was mistakenly inserted into the new plate of 130 subjects of the 10 bani (type 2), likely in position 40. The 5B has a minor abrasion and a missing tooth resulted from the usual irregular perforations, otherwise very fine condition for such a rare item, with very few surviving pairs. 81204 Mi. 154-160 image1903 "Effigies"/Postal Palace Inauguration issue complete set on registered cover sent on 2/8/1903 from Bucharest to Munich, Germany, arrival 4/8 on reverse. This franking, even though philatelic, is extremely rare as the face value of this set was very high (9.30 lei=9.30 Gold Francs) and very few collectors afforded to create such items.
