31340   imagePlate 4 OA with just touched to huge margins tied by red MC on 1840 (Jul 28) mourning entire SENT FROM AUSTRIA (modern day Czech Rep.), sent to London then franked for redirection to the Isle of Wight, franked on top of “CARLSBAD” ds, horiz. fold fold affecting stamp, a very rare usage, cert. Karl Louis (2005), the only such cover from Austria known to him and very likely the earliest cover from Austria with a stamp, a key item for a postal history collector
