 1958 DE LA RUE CASTLES FIRST ISSUE USED ON VARIOUS ITEMS: 6 June 1958 a very large piece (388 x 237mm) from London to Chicago
bearing Wilding 8d (2) and De la Rue Castle 10/- and £1 at the rate of £1-11/4d for up to 22 lbs including 1/4d for £24 insurance. Also bears a large "FRAGILE" label and Customs Declaration form. 1 May 1959 registered "Punch" advertising front used
from London to Houston bearing Wilding ½d, 1d & 4d plus a Castle 5/-. 12 Dec. 1958 env. from Glasgow to Indiana bearing a single Castle 2/6d brown. 20 Apr. 1959 large env. registered express from London to New York franked with a Wilding vertical

 1958 DE LA RUE FIRST PRINTING - EXCEPTIONAL USE ON A LARGE PIECE TO THE BAHAMAS: 1 July 1959 large piece (397 x 156 mm) from
Plymouth to Bahamas International Trust bearing Wilding 1/6d blocks of six (2) & four (2) and 1/3d (5), and 1st De La Rue Castle 2/6d x 15 paying for a 1 lb 13½oz parcel. A late use of the 1st printing as the 2nd printing was released later in July.

 1959 SECOND DE LA RUE CASTLE ISSUE - EXCEPTIONAL VARIETY: 5/- vermilion mint block of sixteen (4 x 4) comprising rows 7 to 10 of the
right pane B of with greatly misplaced horizontal perforations variety. The pane was twisted such that the inscription "POSTAGE 5/-" was progressively transposed to the top of the stamps. Only one single pane is believed to be affected in this way.
