From the experimental stone comprising twelve rows of eight. Transferred from the engraved row of eight from which position 2 was in the Die I state and was the source of all the transfers in the production of the 1854 1a complete horizontal row of the eight types. From row "H" position 1 to 8 as defined by Spence and previously in the Dawson and Hausbury collections. Possibly only two sheets were printed, few complete rows survive and only two larger pieces recorded. [Spence 35.] (Image)
