205   imageROYAL NAVY MAILS - RANGOON - SHIP'S BAG USAGE OF G.B. 1d VENETIAN REDS ON COVER TO G.B.: Nov. 1880 env. (some grubby creasing but still attractive) to Sidmouth Via Brindisi addressed to Mrs. Nisbett B. Lodge whose husband Rev. N.B. Lodge, was swerving as Royal Navy Chaplain on HMS Eclipse at this time. The ship's log shows that she was at Rangoon throughout Nov. 1880; this letter is franked by five GB 1d venetian reds tied by fine London barred "28" numerals with 16 Dec. 1880 Sidmouth arrival cds, which fits the shipping timetables for mails sent from Burma via India for Nov. 1880.
