1833 ENTIRE FROM HOBART TO DEVON: Backstamped with a red boxed "INDIA LETTER/PENZANCE" and arrival mark of 22 Nov. 1833. On front a
ship letter fee of "3" in red ink is cancelled out (on arrival at Penzance) and a mileage charge 2/1d added which appears to have incorrectly included the ship letter fee and was therefore crossed out. The 11d mileage charge was to be paid by the
recipient, therefore requiring a Postage Due charge of 1/10d written in ms at top centre. Cross Reference: DEVON (Image)
