EXTREMELY RARE 1944 ALLIED MILITARY GOVERNMENT (AMG) "SPECIMEN" BOOKLET: Booklet containing 10 panes of different values, 5c-10f of
the Jun. 1944 AMG issue. (SG 851/860). Each pane of 8 stamps - originally 10 stamps but the 5th stamp of each row in each pane has been removed. Panes are attached at left hand side by staples through the selvedge, with interleaving between the
panes. Each pane being overprinted with large, continuous "SPECIMEN" block letters in purple horizontally through the centre of the pane. The beige outer cover is inscribed "SPECIMENS/OF/SUPPLEMENTAL/FRENCH POSTAGE STAMPS" with burgundy coloured tape
