420   imageSILVER, EPNS, OTHER METAL AND BONE TYPES: An attractive collection of boxes and stamp holders inc. in hallmarked silver a box with ball feet and picture frame top (Birmingham 1901), a hinged miniature envelope/purse to suspend from a chain, (Adie & Lovekin Ltd Birmingham 1905, similar (A.E.J. Chester 1912) and (Crissford & Norris Ltd Birmingham 1923), and a miniature book to wear on a chain decorated with inlaid stone thistles ((W?)J&S (Birmingham 1912). EPNS types inc. a 2-section crested box and another 2-section holder to suspend from a chain the latter marked EPNS S&C). Additional hinged or folded unidentified metal miniature book or purse, a likely aluminium holder, an early plastic holder (cracked on spine) with aluminium insert, a bone type miniature book with paper/card concertina interior and accompanying pointer and two bone type boxes with three or two sections the latter embossed with snake of which the middle section is unfortunately missing.
