1823 image1852/1898: Stock book containing a large quantity of stamps from
the first issue, including 5 c. (ca. 380), 10 c. (ca. 310) and 15
c. (ca. 130). Condition is mostly fine to very fine, with some
pairs and strips. Several classifications have been applied, the
material having been arranged by plate and cancellation, thus
offering considerable scope for specialised study. In the rear of
the stock book are a few items from the first issue (including a
block of four of the 10 c. value signed Dr. Louis) and from
subsequent issues, mainly specialities, including essays of the
second issue. An interesting and substantial holding, particularly
suitable for the specialist or for further research. Quite a number
of stamps are signed by Dr. Louis, Richter and W. Engel. Included
are six opinions, four of them by Dr. A. Louis. 1828 image1852/1990ca.: Huge accumulation of used stamps, pre-sorted in 14
stockbooks and a few stock cards. The stockbooks appear to have
been assembled in parallel, as their contents are often quite
similar or partly similar. A very large quantity of middle-priced
sets is present, frequently including semi-postals and Gulden
values, as well as the well-known orange 10 Gulden stamps and their
surcharged 2.50 Gulden variants. Condition is mostly fine. Also
included is the Tourism set 1932 in part sheets of 25. A small
number of unused stamps are contained in some of the stockbooks,
