alongside. Front struck by "AUSTRALIAN PACKET / PAID LIVERPOOL FE 3
56" transit and London arrival datestamps of the following day,
both in red. Handstruck '5 d.' due in red to be paid by the
recipient. An attractive cover and very early usage of this
adhesive in its first week, issued on 26 October as per RL

colour. The reverse has instructions in four language and states:
"This coupon can be exchanged for a postage stamp of the value of
25 centimes or the equivalent of that sum in countries which have
adopted the arrangement.". Very fine and rare. Note: The Rome type
were named after the U.P.U. convention leading up to the
