144 image1886: 2 a. violet-blue, position 18 from Setting 5, printed in
light blue (error of colour, printed in the ink used for the 1
anna), a fine and fresh example with fair to large margins,

lighter shade than the other deep blue variety items, a most
appealing colour variety with the cancellation leaving the tablet
free. Opinion Flack (2011). Note: Hellrigl & Vignola state in their
book: "The printings in Blue are extremely rare. These are
undoubtly genuine errors of colour ... no postally used copies are
known". The three known used examples were discovered after this
book was published. Reference: Another used example is displayed on
page 87 of Armand E. Singer 'Nepal 1772-1961 and beyond'.
