unpriced) (small bend), Spain 1938 Airmail 5 pts. overprint (Mi.-Nr
713) unused, France 1898 Sage Type II 10 c. block of four unused
with upper sheet margin, the upper pair imperforate at top
(Yvert-Nr. 103 var.), also a small group of early Persia including
1876 1 s. grey-black (Scott-Nr. 15) unused (opinion Sadri), etc. An

2325 1850/1990: Miscellaneous group of country collections and lots,
including two large stockbooks, one France, the other Great
Britain, unused, especially France from 1940 onwards unmounted;
stockbook with souvenir sheets from various countries, including
New Caledonia, Germany (Deutsches Reich), etc.; old part collection
of Egypt on Yvert pages; stockbook with Belgium and France;
stockbook Poland, Schaubek album (c. 1930), quite well filled;
stockbook with Austrian classics from the first issue onwards.
Omnibus set French Colonies 1965, never hinged. Also some
stockcards, an approval booklet and a small booklet, plus a few
letters from Portugal and Colonies, etc.

on British posessions in Europe including a 1962 Minkus 'British
Europe' with pages up to 1972, usually well completed from around
1900 for all areas except Great Britain and including some better
early values such as Cyprus 1880 4 d. sage-green (Gi. 4) and 6 d.
grey (Gi. 5) overprinted 'CYPRUS', lightly used, 1881 ovptd. ½ d.
on 1 d. red unused, Heligoland, Ionian Islands, British Levant
including many high values, Gibraltar 1905 2 s. green & blue (Gi.
62) unused or Malta with various high values or used complete set
of 1925 Typset Postage Dues (Gi. D1-D10). Also various loose
material including Cyprus with a good range of early definitives or
1935 King George VI definitives (Gi. 151-163) unused with large
part og., Gibraltar with numerous early values including 2 S.
purple & bright blue (Gi. 72) and a good range of George VI
definitives used/unused and in various multiples, Malta including
covers (2) from the British P.O. to Marseille (1846/54), the
earlier with attractive senders cachet on front, unused high
values, a range of first day covers of the 1948 New Constitution
commemoratives or a study of various 1950s to 1970s varieties on 11

2327 1840/1945ca.: Collection of all continents, housed in five albums,
from the classic period onwards. After the early issues, the
material consists mainly of stamps in the lower price range,
mounted on blank pages. Condition is often mixed, though good
values in good condition are present. Predominantly used. An
interesting holding, offering considerable scope for discovery and
further sorting regarding cancellations, watermarks and varieties.

2328 1840/1980 (ca.): Large unmounted og./unused and mostly used world
collection with duplicates, chiefly focussed on Latin America,
Asia, British Commonwealth with Great Britain, many duplicates
throughout with some better sets and values, noted Great Britain
1840 Penny Black including two fine used copies, a selection of
People´ s Republic China (some reprints noted), fine group of Cuba,
Brasil and Venezuela, Labuan, and more. Neatly housed in 20
albums/stockbooks.

2329 1850/1990ca.: Huge accumulation of used duplication, mainly
European countries such as Belgium, France, Germany, Great Britain,
Luxembourg and the Netherlands, on simple paper leaves housed in
cardboard boxes (11) and in stockbooks (29), filefolders (6) and
two quite modest collections of the Netherlands in preprinted
albums; stamps are often in very large quantities of the same
stamp, though including some better items. The stockbooks contain
smaller quantities, also some overseas countries, and a portion of
unused material, including collections of Luxembourg, Monaco (a few
better sets unmounted), France and a collection of SMOM.

2330 1849/1910ca.: Three early Schaubek albums, the most notable being
the attractive 1885 edition, featuring an ornate decorative cover
and original metal clasp. The album contains a wide range of
classic issues from around the world, including numerous forgeries
and some bogus stamps. The genuine material is in mixed condition,
with a substantial representation of Switzerland as well as
overseas countries, including Thailand and the United States. The
two remaining albums are comparatively modest in content.
Additionally, a fourth volume, more in the style of a large
notebook, comprises duplicated Switzerland from 1862–1910. Of
particular interest are the Standing Helvetia issues, many examples
showing fine and appealing cancellations.

2331 1850/1955 (ca.): Large unused and used accumulation with covers,
noted early Spain and Sweden with duplicates, Switzerland used
collection 1862/1975 with a few better values, USA airmails with
1933 envelope with 50 c. and special postmark "GRAF ZEPPELIN FLIGHT
to Century of Progress Exhibition", San Marino small group of the
1877/1892 issues, Fiume, also Mexico and Salvador with a small
group of plate proofs, and more; overall an interesting and
eclectic lot in mixed condition.

in fresh unmounted block of four (Types 5–6), each signed Herbert
Bloch; Réunion 1937 50 c. “Roland Garros” airmail overprint mint
and additionally on signed cover to Paris; mixed group of France
1862 Cérès reimpressions complete 10 c. to 1 fr., fresh and gummed;
Italian Colonies 1934 Provisional overprint definitive set 40/80 c.
to 3.70/10 l., complete mint unmounted and signed by Albert & Enzo
Diena, some also by Brun & Fiecchi; Portugal 1853 Queen Maria II 5
r. red-brown unused with good to large margins and part original

signed Todd AIEP. A wide-ranging and high-quality assembly with

2333 cover 1860-2000ca.: Family estate holding of covers of various kinds from
Switzerland and abroad, contained in 15 albums and several file
folders. The range extends from interesting earlier items to modern
FDCs of Switzerland and Liechtenstein. A substantial part of the
material relates to Germany, Monaco and the French colonies
(Madagascar), Luxembourg and the Netherlands and of course
Switzerland, with additional countries represented, much of
stationery containded.
