duplicates, stockbooks and remainders, offering an exceptionally
wide variety of European and overseas countries from classic issues
to modern material. Included is a selection of old pre-printed
albums, for example Schaubek, one of which contains a quite
substantial and attractive section of Switzerland. A genuine
treasure trove for thematic collectors as well as specialists in
cancellations; furthermore, the entire holding appears to be
completely unresearched with regard to watermarks and perforations.

2314 1870/1970ca.: Small family estate, preserved virtually 1:1 as found
in the attic, with a some interesting discoveries, including
commercially used covers from countries such as China and Japan to
Switzerland, housed in three cover albums and in bundles, together
with loose stamps in stockbooks. A diverse holding with material
from many different countries, though the greater part is
Switzerland and some better from Japan, including some discount
postage and kiloware.
