1906: Surcharge ½ d. on 2 s. 6 d. and 1 d. on 3 s., used in combination with ½ d. green block of four and two singles, on a registered envelope, sent to Lugano, Switzerland, dated 25 April 1905, endorsed "per Pataini", tied by registered Gambia oval in black, with R in oval alongside. To the reverse, transit marks in Liverpool (12 May) and London (13 May) and an arrival in Lugano (14 May).
