Complete set of eight values 3 c. to $ 5 in matching bottom marginal blocks of twenty (10 x 2) with printer's imprint 'Waterlow & Sons Ltd, London Wall, London E.C.'. Printed in the issued colours on ungummed paper, each value comprising; 1) a progressive imperforate Die Proof of the frame only (additional example for the $ 5 printing), 2) a Die Proof in completed designs (additional examples for the 3 c., 10 c. & $ 1 printings) and 3) a perforated block of stamps in the complete design (additional example for the 25 c. value). All with punch holes between each block of four and a number with notations in the margins, such as; "Vignette plate correct / Improve registered", "Green Colour Correct", "8000,000 stamps / = 8,000 pulls" and "Wording May correct - as approved Proof".
