1856: 6 d. pale lilac, a single example used on 1858 cover from London addressed to a Letter Carrier care of the Post Office at Port Phillip, Victoria tied by bold strike of the London Pearson Hill Experimental second Trial machine datestamp, Machine 'A', Time Code 'M', dated February 9th, 1858 in black (Dubus 2). Reverse with offset impression and Melbourne arrival (April 26) in red. Minor blunted perfs. at left of the adhesive but a remarkable and unique overseas usage, especially so with this time code.
