Wicklow tied by "DUBLIN / LATE FEE / 186" duplex in black (Jan 21). Reverse with Ovoca arrival cds (Jan 22). Apparently accepted for prepayment of a Late Fee but the RPSL state "(we) cannot comment on reason for bisect". A most unusual cover. Cert. RPSL (2003). 4174 cover image1856: 6 d. pale lilac, a single example used on 1858 cover from London addressed to a Letter Carrier care of the Post Office at Port Phillip, Victoria tied by bold strike of the London Pearson Hill Experimental second Trial machine datestamp, Machine 'A', Time Code 'M', dated February 9th, 1858 in black (Dubus 2). Reverse with offset impression and Melbourne arrival (April 26) in red. Minor blunted perfs. at left of the adhesive but a remarkable and unique overseas usage, especially so with this time code. An outstanding cover. Unique. Reference: listed in the Jerry H.
