2143 cover image1868: 5 c. in a horizontal corner pair from the upper right of the sheet on a folded letter originating from VETRALLA (cancel without date on the reverse, which is rare (Sassone 12 points) with a cds 'VITERBO 11 AGO 68', sent to ROME (arrival on the reverse). According to the certificate by Giacomo Avanzo from 2019, the pair is exceptionally margined, of great freshness, and in perfect condition. The 10 c tariff was the rate for a simple internal letter.
