British Protectorate 1815/64 1851 (May 30): Prepaid entire letter from Corfu to Paris by Austrian Packet with large Coat of Arms "OFFICIO DELLA POST GENERALE / CORFU in black with "3d." local rate inserted, hooded "CORFU"
datestamp on reverse in black (May 30). Slitted for disinfection with "AT" and scarce "Jonia" in black. Letter arrived with seals broken and reverse with rare two line "LETTERE ARRIVÉE / DECACHETÉE" struck in blue. A scarce and fine entire.
