HELENA" cds of despatch in red above (June 1) and manuscript "4" pence in red crayon 2d. credit to St. Helena and 4d. rate to the Cape. Transit cds "CAPE TOWN / CAPE COLONY" at top in black (July 17) and reverse with Port Elizabeth arrival (July 21). The stamp has been lifted for checking and replaced.
